How To Become An Oceanzer Mod

Hi everyone!

We're always being asked 'How can I become a Mod?', so I figured that I'd make a little post. So, some tips to becoming a Mod:

- Be helpful in the forums. Saying 'I'd love to help!' isn't really helpful.
- Following the rules. If you've had a Rep point deduction you can't become a Mod.
- You'll need to be 16+, unless you get a reccomendation from either of the Mods.( This isn't always the case as sometimes there isn't anyone who would do a good enough duty over 16)
- Interact with other players; don't just sit in a hermit's shell. Have fun in the forums.
- Post in the bugs forums if you find a bug, help Dreamzer out!
- Your posts must be simple, easy to read. No 'o yea ill help u wazzup??????' Or 'Yeah!' Seriously, that just bugs people.
- You need to understand the game, so the advice you give is valid.
- You need to be active on the game, not just logging on once a week.

This isn't all the criteria, an people will be judged if and when Mods are needed. Please take these things into consideration before you ask to be a Mod:
- It's a lot of responsibility, not just lolly pops and rainbows
- People will probably be rude to you. Don't take it to heart; some people just don't want to have the law put down.
- There's no pay. There's been a rumour floating around for some time that you get free membership. You don't.
- There are a lot of forum posts to be dealt with.

So yeah. Follow all the rules, and maybe you'll be a mod

I don't think that you should nominate yourself to become a moderator. I think that a someone who is already a Moderator, Dreamzer, or if a few people say "I think (Input name here) should be a Moderator they are always helping me out and others" then they should be picked to be one. Nominating yourself seems a little selfish, but its only my opinion.I do agree with all of your requirements/information to becoming a Moderator. And I do think that we should have something like this on all of the Dreamzer sites because I am a Moderator on Horzer and lots of people do ask how to become one. Though Moderators do have a bit more power than people who are not mods, but you don't need the title to help people out. x3 I also love how you guys posted a how to take care of animal forum first thing I did when I joined was go to check if you guys had one set up yet.

I nominated myself to be Mod. It's not selfish. If I hadn't asked, I wouldn't be Mod. Self-nomination is normal, many Mods do it. Of course, in some cases, this isn't always a good thing. A player on Dogzer did this and has done nothing but bully me since.

If there are not enough people of the right age they do choose people who are younger than 16(in tangolu, Singer and my case) but in general not.
